As Healthway Medical is known for their prevention rather than cure mantra, they come up with an exciting dance competition to celebrate their anniversary in a healthier way.
“Dancing is a form of art but it is also considered as a great form of exercise. It is one of the most effective cardio exercises, not only for weight loss purposes but also for maintaining a healthier way of living as it involves different body movements. It conditions the human body, reduces the risk of osteoporosis, and improves blood circulation and cardiovascular disease. That is why I foster dancing in our company” said Carmie de Leon, Healthway Medical, VP for sales and marketing.
And as part of their anniversary program, Healthway Medical invites all corporate and universities to showcase their moves on the dance arena. Aside from cash and wellness packages, the dance contest also serves as an advocacy campaign wherein it benefits the KYTHE Foundation and CENTEX, a project of Ayala Foundation, Inc.
KYTHE Foundation is a non-profit, non-stock organization aimed to inspire hope for the hospitalized children with cancer and chronic illness. As KYTHE (means “to make visible”) is already 20 years in service, they continue to help these children in achieving quality life through their KYTHE Childe Life Program. They are the only foundation in the country that offers such service through the help of group of trained professionals.
On the other hand, CENTEX (Center of Excellence in Public Elementary Education) is a public school since 1998 operated by Memorandum Agreement between the Department of Education and Ayala Foundation which caters bright children from economically disadvantaged families who needs quality education and ample support for their brighter future.
CENTEX operates two public schools in Tondo Manila and Bauan Batangas wherein they served as a learning environment for the children to secure a better opportunity ahead.
With this, Helathway Medical pushes this exciting dance competition not just only to celebrate but also in lending some kindness to those blessed children.
So, let’s dance for happiness. Let’s dance for a cause. Let’s dance for a healthier life with HEALTHWAY MEDICAL!

Beauty Problem Fixes

Some women are just born perfect. They have flawless skin, toned, sexy body, and silky, long, luscious hair, while some just don’t have it all. If you belong to the first group, you are blessed. You are one of those women we get so jealous of because you just look absolutely perfect anytime of the day.

But for those who belong to the second group, fret not! You are not alone. Even seemingly perfect celebrities have flaws they just know how to correct them.

Here are seven common beauty problems and how to fix them:

1.      Dry skin. As we grow older, our skin gradually grows thinner and produces less natural oil. Experts say these factors contribute to the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Dry skin is caused by changes of weather, steamy showers, moisture-robbing soaps, too much scrubbing, aging, irritants, or skin conditions.

The fix:Beauty experts recommend patients to see a doctor for a medical advice. But if you think it’s a simple drying of the skin, try drinking lots of water – all day, every day. Try to look for cleansers and other skincare products (toners, exfoliators, etc.) with moisturizing ingredients that will not dry the skin like Derma Celesty Series of Shinagawa Lasik & Aesthetics. It is developed by leading Japanese dermatologists to rejuvenate the skin. Jewelry gel, cleansing foam, and exfoliating gel contain hydrolyzed fiber. W-BTX essence makes your skin silky and ageless by reducing wrinkles instantly.

2.      Body odor. It is an unpleasant smell in our bodies caused by bacteria that live on the skin break down sweat into acids. It becomes evident when a human reaches puberty at 14-16 years of age in females and 15-17 in males. People who are obese, those who regularly eat spicy foods, as well as individuals with certain medical conditions such as diabetes, are more susceptible to having body odor.

The fix:Proper hygiene and diet, and the use of dermatologically tested beauty products can eliminate body odor. Celesty Flora’s deodorant body scrub contains Tannin of Persimmon fruit extracts that fights unpleasant body odor while making your skin soft, radiant, and delicately scented with an uplifting citrus fragrance. It’ll make you smell good and feel good!

3.      Excess weight. This is often associated with obesity and cholesterol. Too much body fats can often lead to other health issues such as breathing difficulties, arthritis, and heart disease.

The fix:  Nothing beats regular exercise and a sensible diet plan. But some women have slow metabolism that they tend to have a hard time losing weight. Fit ‘n Slim contains L-Carnitin to speed up metabolism and a delicious diet coffee which is very popular among women of all ages. You can also try Musevital supplements for those who are eager to
